
Children’s Tickets
Complimentary admission to children under 32-inches in height. However, we do request that these children sit in their parent or guardian’s lap and not occupy an additional seat. Promotional giveaway items are only available for ticketed guests
WILL CALL
Phone and Internet purchases may be picked up with confirmation number and photo ID at any open ticket window or kiosk, during normal business hours or on game nights. Tickets ordered for luxury suites or through special arrangements from members of the Pirates organization including players and front office staff are to be picked up at the main box office windows located at the corner of Federal and West General Robinson Streets. Complimentary tickets may be picked-up one and one half (1 1/2) hours prior to game time. Windows are designated as “Will Call” by electronic message signs
GATES OPEN
Gates open one and one half hours (1 1/2) prior to game time (Monday through Sunday) and two hours on Opening Day. The Riverwalk will open two (2) hours before weekday (Monday-Friday) games and two and one half hours (2 1/2) prior to weekend (Saturday-Sunday) games
FOUL BALLS
Guests are welcome to keep any foul ball hit into the stands. At no time should a foul or home run ball be thrown back on the field.
BANNERS/SIGNS
The Pirates welcome signs and banners. To ensure that these articles do not pose a safety risk or detract from the enjoyment of other guests, the Pirates request you adhere to the following guidelines:
- Please do not place banners/signs in the eyesight of the batter and/or hanging over the outfield fences. Banners should in no way infringe on the sightlines of other PNC Park Guests.
- The banners/signs must be 4′ x 8′ or smaller in size.
- Banners/signs may not be placed anywhere inside the playing field, be commercial, political, derogatory or obscene as determined by the Pirates.
BATTING PRACTICE
Batting practice generally begins two hours before most home games. Both teams take infield practice 40 minutes before game time. Times are approximate and subject to change without prior notification and at the discretion of either team.
FAN INTERFERENCE
In the interest of player and Guest safety, the stadium maintains a zero tolerance policy regarding fan interference with a ball in play or a player during the game. Failure to comply with the policy could result in immediate removal and criminal sanctions.
LOST AND FOUND
Found articles may be turned in at any Guest Relations location. Items will be recorded and maintained for 30 days.
ESCALATORS
Escalators are located at the third base/left field stands near Pop’s Plaza and provide mechanized access to the Grandstand Level of PNC Park. Escalators are also located behind Home Plate to provide access from the street level to the Main Concourse.

- Ball entering dugout: Out of Play (Award by Book Rule).
- Ball on top step (lip) of dugout: In Play.
- A catch cannot be made in either dugout: Out of Play.
Backstop Area
- Pitched or thrown ball on resting ledge of signage behind Home Plate: In Play.
Outfield Area
- Batted ball in flight striking taller wall in left-center field and bounding into left field stands: Home Run.
- Batted ball in flight striking to left of vertical yellow line in right center field and rebounding into play: Home Run.
Right Field
- Ball reaching the seats above the railing: Home Run.
- Ball hitting screen above scoreboard and beneath railing: In Play.
